Rainbow Hugs

So I saved the best for last today.   The quickest card to make and the one that brings the biggest smile to my face.    Is it the rainbows, the sentiment or the fact I made four cards in no time at all.

The designer series paper made the card.    It is from Simple Stories Sunshine and Happiness.   Need to get more!!!     The heart was die cut.     The sentiment was stamped from the Sending Thoughts stamp set in Primrose Petals ink.

You + Me

So I was totally inspired by Teresa Kline's card below.    Love the watercolor, love the heart.   I love the design.     I copied a few of the ideas from the card and made it my own.   Thank you Teresa for the inspiration.

So for the watercolor background I pulled out my Melon Mambo ink refill and Aqua Painter.     The heart was die cut with my Heart framelits and Cherry Cobber card stock     The sentiment comes from the Simon Says Stamp You & Me stamp sets.    Thank you again Tim Holtz for the your amazing platform which made stamping the sentiments so quick and easy.

Celebrate It's Your Day

So how fun is this card.     There was something about this week's As You See It Sketch Challenge, that I just drew me in and it is the first sketch challenge I have participated in a long time.   Yes, I know I was a sketch challenge junkie in my past, but time has not been my friend in creating and I am just statrting to get my motivation back.

So I turned the image on it's side and I am happy with my end result.   Such a fun and festive card and makes you want to go out and celebrate.

Thank God for my Tim Holtz platform, it made stamping these images so easy!!!    If you haven't tried it, it is a must for multiple images.

The sentiment comes from the Alt E New Celebrate set.    The drinks come from the Sweet Stamp Shop Happy Hour.    The background is the retired Dotty Angles stamp sest.     The drinks were colored in Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush and Strawbery Slush.   Don't the colors sound like they can be drink specials!!!     The banners were made with my Triple Banner Punch and Banner Punch.     Silver cord finshes the card.

Love Soft Sky

I just love Soft Sky card stock and white heat embossed sentiments and images.    Just beautiful and elegant.     This card is no exception.   I used the So Detailed thinlits and heat embossed the Your Perfect Day sentiment.      I haven't used a lot of my white satin ribbon, but for this card it was a must along with the pearls.      Thank God for the magnetic platform, it made it so easy to die cut the detailed images.

Christmas Cheer

So I was completely inspired by this beautiful card on Pinterest.    Of course no card is just cased, I need to make it my own.    So the idea of the card is there but I have a few touches of my own.     The coffee cup and sentiment come from the Coffee Cafe and Merry Cafe stamp sets.       I made a few more cards but decided to use the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment from Fiskars.   Not everyone celebrates Christmas so I made a few winter wishes ones.

The coffeee sleave uses the Simple Stories Summer Days designer series paper.   The coffee cup was stamped in the beautiful Baked Brown Sugar.    Please Stampin' Up! bring this color back.     The holly was made with the Holly Builder punch and enamel dots.   The best part of the card was using up old designer series paper the retired Candy Cane and Under the Tree Specialty paper.     Baker's twine finsh the card.

Happiness and Coffee

So I have to say I have the best customers in the world.    Between their online orders and the ones that buy my beautiful cards,  they keep me motivated to keep creating and inspiring them.

Here is a thank you card I made to send with my online orders.      Every order gets a card.

Here is the great Coffee Cafe stamp set that I purchased and that has been collecting dust the last couple of months.   I feel like I am making up for lost time.   Thank God for my friend Colleen she has motivating me to craft by getting us together.     Just like with exercise sometimes we need a little push of a friend, so if you feel like you lost your mojo ask a friend to join you.   Before you know it, the creativity will appear.    It also helps when that friend brings Starbucks.   So how appropriate, Happiness is a cup of coffee shared with a friend.

The coffee cup was stamped than with my aqua painter and crumb cake ink refill the background was made.    After the watercolor was dry, I stamped the sentiment.      The designer series paper is Coffee Break.     Linen Thread and a button finish the card.

With Sympathy

So I needed to put a sympathy card together for my uncle.    I am not a fan of making sympathy cards, but I know how much a card means to someone that lost someone.    Never mind a homemade one.    They say it is a hug that you can send and I truly believe that.   I felt the love many times over with each card that was mailed and sent to me.

The leaf circle was made with Distress Oxide ink, Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover and sprinkle of water.    I just love the leaf in the Crazy for you stamp set.   I can't tell you how many times I have used it.    The leaf was heat embossed.   The sentiment was die cut with my Avery Elle thinlit.     Enamel dots and strip of card stock complete the card.

For the New Two

So it looks like my Swirly Scribbles thinlits are being put to use.   Here are the Pink Pirouette hearts tied together with Strawberry Slush baker's twine.     The sentiment comes from the For the New Two stamp set and was stamped in Strawberry Slush.     The background designer series paper is from Dear Lizzy Lovely Day designer series paper.     Such an easy card to put together.    So happy because I really needed some wedding cards to put in my card display at The Fine Grind coffee shop.

Sick & Tired

So I just had to have the Sending Thoughts stamp set from last year's Occasions Mini.    So many beautiful sentiments.   I am sad to say that I have only made one card before this with the stamp sets.    So many great sentiments to cheer someone up.    How great I know you're sick & tired of being sick & tired but I'll never be tired of being here for you.    The little heart comes from the Show & Tell stamp set.

The stripes of designer series paper come from the Stacked with Love.    The watercolor background was made with Pretty in Pink ink refil and Aqua Painter.  Baker's twine and a button finish the card.

Thinking of you on your Birthday

One of my favorite dies is the Swirly Scribbles.   I decided to make it a wreath and pair it up with the sunflower I fussy cut from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper, some Martha Stewart and Fiskars leaf punches.    The little old olive leaves were made with the leaf punch from the Holiday Mini.   The sentiment comes from the Time of Year and Party Pants stamp sets.    The Simple Stories Summer Vibes designer series paper gives us a strip of color.

Perfect Masculine Card

So this has to be one of the easiest cards I have made.   The piece that took the longest was diecutting the leaves from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and making sure all the intricate pieces of the leaf were removed.   After that the card was done in no time.

Some strips of Early Espresso and Coffee Break Designer Series Paper and a Crumb Cake circle punch were all that were needed.    The sentiment comes from the Feather Together stamp set. Gold Sequins finish the card.  Perfect card for the men in your life.

Let's Celebrate Your Day

I love black and white designer series paper with a pop of color.   I am always on the quest for finding more paper especially stripes.    I am so happy I found the WeRMemory Keepers Chalkboard paper.   It was perfect for my background.

The background behind the celebrate was done with some Pretty in Pink ink refill and my Aqua Painter.    The sentiment comes from the Happy Celebrations stamp set.   The drinks and the sparkles come from the Sweet Stamp Shop Happy Hour stamp set.

So who's up for happy hour!

Every Leaf

I love Fall.   Love the weather and love all the beautiful colors.    The Autumn's Calling stamp from The Project Bin has the perfect sentiment.    Every leaf speaks to me, fluttering from the Autumn tree.    I decided to make a tag or in my case it will be used as a bookmarker.

The background is combination of Fossilized Amber and Spiced Maralade Distress Oxide inks.    Sprinkle a little water and beautiful background.   I took my Martha Stewart and Fiskars leaf punches and punched out some leaves with the Distress Oxide background.

The designer series paper is from American Crafts Fall Day.     Enamel Dots, Buttons and Twine finish the tag off.

Turn Over a New Leaf

I just love this cute sentiment from The Project Bin.    So simple, but great advice "Turn over a new leaf every day."   Shouldn't we start each day as a new day and start fresh.

I decided to put the sentiment in a half circle and putting designer paper on the second half of the circle.    Love the end result.

The sentiment was heat embossed.   The designer series paper is from American Crafts Fall Day.     The background paper was from American Crafts Felix.    Spiral punch and embellishments finish the card.
